yup doing lots of exercise makes you tired, and it doesn't matter how much sugar you eat you still get tired, well maybe its the lack of sleep that makes me tired, i dont know, but anyway, i had a huge weekend dancing this weekend and it was great, i slept so well last night, even the fifty odd overexcited first years that were playing in the first snow of the year didn't even wake me.
after some workshops and a very intense exercise class on saturday the dance party on saturday night was great, lots of great outfits (theme 30's and 50's to mark the decades of birth of our two birthday guests). it was so much fun, i won a 'highly commended' for my outfit choice. i was wearing a dress that belongs to a friend of mine, she got given it from someone who had it in the 50's i thought it was a great choice and it flew out everytime i spun around, luckily she had leant me and equally 50s ish petticoat to wear under that poofed the skirt out when i wasnt spinning but didn't fly up so there was no public viewings of my underwear. we managed to make the night last until 2.50 am when i finally got home and after a very quick shower managed to crawl into bed so so tired.
on sunday we went out to breakfast at the beanscene cafe on the octagon, big ups to those guys the food was so tasty! and after that i helped john and emma film some new moves to teach so there was a bit more dancing involved, lots of fun tho and very interesting debating why they taught some things differently to each other. then i had another exercise class but i dindt go so intense as the first one as i had run out of my energy sources by then.
today is the official public holiday celebrating the queens birthday. it means we get a holiday from uni and the banks and post offices are shut, and the cafe's get to charge more to cover higher employee wages of the public holiday, however, the holiday from uni would be fine but we're on study leave anyway as exams are starting tomorrow, oh well.
